Final Events of Anti-Street Harassment Week

In anti-street harassment week | on 03.23.12 | by | Comments ( 0 )

There are several offline events for the final day of International Anti-Street Harassment Week.

* Rallies will take place tomorrow in New York City, Philadelphia, and Delhi, India,

* There will be a chalkwalk in Brussels, Belgium, a Girls Forum in San Luis Obispo, CA, and street theater and a speakout in Washington, DC.

I hope you can attend if you’re in one of those areas, and bring a friend or two!

Online activism will continue tomorrow, too. Here are three examples:

* Every day from March 18th to 24th, Hollaback Ottawa in Canada is posting a photo of your creative Hollabacks! to inspire others to do the same.

* GotStared. At in India is still collecting images of clothes people wore when they were harassed to counter victim-blaming.

* Black Feminist UK will post a final story on their blog.
